Team Green Basketball
The Tradition Continues… Established in 2009, The Team Green Basketball Camps are great camps for all ages. If you are a elementary, middle school or high school basketball player, Team Green provides an incredible opportunity to improve your game, and if you are a younger player, it will be sure to help you develop the basic skills to help you make your team!
Over the NBA offseason, 3x NBA Champion Danny Green has been busy giving back to the community with his Team Green Basketball Camps throughout the United States. He has hosted camps in Texas, North Carolina and in New York.
Needless to say, Green has been busy making sure children who attend his camps grasp the fundamentals of the game while learning valuable life lessons.
One camp was out in Manhasset, New York at Danny’s old high school stomping grounds – St. Mary’s High School.
There he, along with his old UNC teammates, high school coach, family and many others, put on a camp for area kids and where I got a chance to catch up with Green to chat with him about his passion for giving back to the community and much more.
“I can’t take credit for all of it,” Green said. “It starts with my dad. He’s the guy that got me in to it. He’s big in the community. He’s big with teaching and giving back with kids.”
